Dr. Srijana Pokhrel opened Zen Dental Studio in 2018 to care for people the way she always wanted. In Mountain View, that means the appointment is built around you: we listen first, explain what we see in plain English, and go at your pace.

Where do I park at the Mountain View studio?
Parking is simple here. The Dean building has ample free retail parking on its basement level, directly below the studio. If you prefer to stay above ground, there is plenty of street parking around the building.
How do I find Suite A?
We are in the Dean building, where San Antonio Road meets Miller Avenue, directly across from Bank of America. Suite A is at street level. If you park in the garage below, take the elevator up one level and you are steps from our door.
Can I get there by Caltrain?
Yes. The San Antonio Caltrain station is an easy walk from the studio, which makes the train a good option from elsewhere on the Peninsula. We are at 400 San Antonio Rd, Suite A, near the San Antonio Shopping Center.
Do you offer same-day crowns here?
Yes. Mountain View is our studio with in-house milling. Your tooth is scanned digitally, the crown is designed and milled on-site, and you leave with the permanent restoration in a single visit. There is no temporary crown and no second appointment.
Do you take walk-ins in Mountain View?
We see patients by appointment rather than walk-in, so every visit gets the time it deserves. Booking online takes under a minute. If something urgent comes up, call the Mountain View studio at (650) 582-2848 and we will do our best to see you the same day.
Do you see dental emergencies the same day?
Yes. Call the Mountain View studio at (650) 582-2848 and we will fit you in the same day whenever the schedule allows. Emergency visits are booked appointments rather than walk-ins, so calling first means we are ready for you when you arrive at 400 San Antonio Rd, Suite A.
Do you accept my insurance? What about Delta Dental?
We accept the majority of PPO dental plans and are in-network with many of them. Quite a few of our patients have Delta Dental and choose to see us even though we are not in-network with that plan. Send your insurance information to hello@zendentalmtv.com and we will confirm your coverage before your visit.
Can I know the exact cost of treatment before I commit?
We always put our best estimate in writing before treatment begins. Insurance responses can vary, so if you would like certainty first, ask us to submit a pre-determination to your insurer. Depending on the plan, that takes about four to eight weeks. After that, you will know exactly what is covered.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Plan for about an hour. Your first visit starts with digital x-rays and a comprehensive exam, followed by a thorough, gentle cleaning. Your dentist walks you through what they see in plain language, and any recommendation comes with costs in writing. Nothing is scheduled until you say so.
Do you offer Invisalign, implants, and veneers at this studio?
Yes. Invisalign, dental implants, porcelain veneers, and whitening are all planned and delivered at our Mountain View studio. It is also the studio with our in-house milling unit, so a crown can be designed, made, and fitted in one visit.
How do I book online?
