Dr. Srijana Pokhrel, DDS

Dr. Srijana Pokhrel founded Zen Dental Studio in San Francisco and opened the Mountain View studio when patients asked for care closer to home. She practices at both. What drives her is a love of the craft and the care of her patients, and that is the standard she set for the studio from the start.

She trained at NYU College of Dentistry and has spent many years in general practice. Over that time she has kept looking for ways to serve her patients better, and surgery became part of her practice as a result: extractions, dental implants, and bone and gum grafting. She takes a particular interest in cosmetic work as well, including veneers and Invisalign. She has completed hundreds of Invisalign cases and plans each one carefully, so your teeth end up where they belong.

She provides the full range of general dentistry, from routine exams to complex treatment. At every visit she explains what she sees and what it means. Her focus is long-term oral health: keeping her patients’ own teeth healthy for as long as possible, and planning treatment with that in mind.

Outside the studio, she spends her time with her son, hiking, and writing.
